The Tacky Ornament Party
What is it?
The Tacky Ornament Party is an annual event where our family gathers to exchange the most hideously tacky Christmas ornaments we were able to find. Partial credit is also given for gaudy and ugly.
The Rules
- Ornaments should be wrapped but untagged
- Ornaments should cost no more that $5
- All received ornaments MUST be displayed on your following year's Christmas tree
Where is it?
The location changes from year to year, and is typically decided at the end of the previous year's party. Traditionally the location is set to be at the home of a family member who failed to show up!
Wish to Attend?
All are welcome, but beware. Once you've join in, you can never back out. Bring yourself, your "tacky", and a snack-type food or drink to share.
